Colorado requires drivers under 18 to complete 50 hours of supervised driving — including 10 hours at night — before the driving test. The DR 2324 Drive Time Log Sheet records those hours, signed by a parent, guardian, or supervising adult.

The state's promoted app — and what it collects
Colorado promotes a free driving-log app as a resource for the supervised driving log. Using it is optional; the printed DR 2324 is still accepted. If you're weighing it, read its privacy policy first. The app logs drives automatically using your phone's GPS and sensors — including location in the background — and tracks driving conditions. As of July 2026 its store listings and privacy policy describe collecting location and personal information; policies change, so check the current one yourself.
